Singer Vehicle Design Celebrates 300th Restoration
Singer celebrated its 300th restoration in February in
2024. For those unaware, or simply living under a rock, Singer Vehicle Design restores,
enhances, and takes Porsche 911’s (particularly 964’s) to the pinnacle of existence.
The lucky 300th was a 1990 Porsche 911 reimagined by
Singer – Classic Study named ‘Sotto’.
The following specifications were provided by Singer’s release on
the vehicle.
1990
Porsche 911 Targa (Type 964)
- Presented with carbon fiber bodywork in Resistance
Blue with ghosted side stripes
- Bespoke interior trimmed in Orange leather with
black stitching
- Lightweight carbon fiber track seats with woven
leather centers and nickel grommets
- 4.0L, naturally aspirated, air-cooled flat six,
paired with a 5-speed manual transmission sending power to the rear wheels
- Carbon ceramic brakes
- Titanium sports exhaust
While it may sound hyperbolic, a Porsche 911 reimagined by Singer
is a halo car. These often-no-expense-spared reimaginations can take years to
complete.
