While scouring for new purchases, they discovered a 1971 Lamborghini Miura S that has been in storage for more than 30 years.

It also happened to be previously owned by John Temerian Sr (the founder of Curated's father).

So if you are a fan of beautiful barn finds, this is one not to miss! The details are included in the video below and the article at the link.

Cadillac Escalade - General Motors

Carbuzz's Cadillac Escalade Review

I knew the Escalade was a hit, but selling over 40,000 units in 2024 is quite impressive! CarBuzz recently published its review of the latest luxury SUV and it's a good one.

In depth and objective, it gives a great look into the options, equipment and expectations with Cadillac's latest version of the icon.

Personally, with no budget consideration we're vying for the V-spec Escalade, but for those with a more commuter-based purpose, you should take a read.

Corvette ZR1X - General Motors

Faster 'round the Ring, Easier on the Wallet: Corvette ZR1X

It behooves us as performance car buyers to be frugal at times, and if you want to be "King of the Ring" in so many ways, then you'll have to, just have to, seriously consider the Corvette ZR1X!

With 1,250 horsepower, a 9-second quarter mile time and a entry-price of $207,395, you're going to have stiff competition on the new-car front for a competitor at both performance and price.

The Drive dissected the rivals a bit and prices for a fun comparison. Details are at the link.

2025 Lexus LC500 by Caleb Jacobs

The Drive: 2025 Lexus LC500 Convertible Review

The Lexus LC500 convertible is receiving it's fair share of love lately. And it's easy to see why. It's a drop-top V8-powered two door, four seater.

The Drive's Caleb Jacobs puts together a nice write-up on with some nice photos. The luxury GT car hits a lot of high-notes for Jacobs, and a few -albeit- missteps; but they don't detract from the overall success.

A strong contender for anyone looking for a fun, reliable sports GT that you can daily and not feel punished for driving.

Most know Singer as the pinnacle of restomod Porsche 911's and this Classic Turbo Service appears to be just that.

 Lamborghini Pauses SC63 Program

If you want to be a good writer, write. Is what I've been told, and heard, and suppose read as well. So here I am. Let's explore what pearls of wisdom and entertainment from the automotive world came forth yesterday shall we?

Lamborghini Pauses SC63 Program

Let's start with some not entirely surprising news from Automobili Lamborghini. The Italian marque is pausing the SC63 LMDh program for the 2026 season. It will finish out the final two Endurance Cup rounds at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Petit Le Mans in Atlanta.

It's a good looking car as far as LMDh vehicles go, but the brand hasn't had much success in this area. Factory efforts are going to focus on the latest Temerario GT3 and Super Trofeo version instead.

It gives the "let's take a short break" relationship status change to save some face instead of an abrupt and ugly breakup. But come 2026 we'll see if the brand has a change of heart with the LMDh program.

Chris Raschke

Land-Speed Record Attempt Ends in Fatality

Sixty-year old Chris Raschke of Ventura, California succumbed to his injuries after a wreck while attempting a land speed record at the Bonneville Salt Flats.

On Sunday August 3, 2025 while piloting "Speed Demon" Raschke's vehicle malfunctioned, went airborne and crashed approximately two and a half miles into its run.

Part of the Speed Demon Crew for more than 13 years, and Director of Sales and Marketing for ARP, Raschke was a staple in the motorsports community both professionally and as an enthusiast.

No One Drivers Forever

Road & Track's John Pearly Huffman published a powerful and thought-provoking piece on the uncomfortable truths about aging and its affect on those who love to drive.

"I need my car," she pleaded to me. "It's the only way I have to get around. I'm not me without my car."

A line that many car enthusiasts will take to heart, also applies to many elderly who don't want to lose their freedom.

If you read any of the articles or stories I've found and am writing about I highly suggest you take a few minute to read this one.

Motor1.com Continues its Decline Into Madness

For regular readers of Motor1.com you'll have noticed that the site has now added trending articles to it's lineup. The site used to have decent articles and there are still a few mixed in, but the barrage of click-bait and lowest-common denominator pieces, by equally horrible staffers is an embarrassment for the automotive community.

I'm sure they are meant to drive engagement and increase KPI's or some other digital token of success, but seriously, have they no shame?

Hopefully the ship can rite its course and find North again, but it appears to not be the case. Until then, we keep looking and see what we can find!
