“Today was truly an unforgettable auction and a highlight of Monterey Car Week,” said Eric Minoff, Head of Sale and Head of Department for Bonhams|Cars, US. “The auction room was beyond packed, with competitive bidding and an electric atmosphere that reflected the excitement for these remarkable cars. The outstanding results are a testament to the quality of the vehicles on offer and the passion of the collectors who attended.”

Nearly 100 vehicles crossed the block, offering a broad range of choices for collectors. Between the No-Reserve Hypercar Collection and the previously covered Vic Edelbrock Collection, there was enough variety to satisfy enthusiasts across the spectrum.

One of the standout moments came when a Bugatti Divo, showing fewer than 800 miles, sparked a spirited bidding war before ultimately selling for $8.6 million.

Compared to Broad Arrow’s debut earlier in the week, the Bonhams sale carried a far different tone. Buyers appeared more confident spending significant sums, and the room’s atmosphere was consistently electric. Speculatively, this may reflect both the timing later in the week and Bonhams’ established reputation.
